The whole writing cycle is back in full swing. Sometimes I wonder if I am ever going to get anywhere with this. I guess all I can do is keep trying. Getting the novella published was a huge thing. I have something in print...it is out there on the web...I never thought it would happen or that I would be brave enough to do it. It is a great story, and I am glad it is out there. Here are some links, as always your feedback is welcome and would be super great. One day I woke up and found myself in the middle of this drama. I wasn’t sure how I ended up there, but I knew I wasn’t happy. I had worked too hard to be myself and to start to be okay with being me (for the most part) to let this negativity bring me down. When you struggle with self worth, it is an up hill battle most times. We are our own worst enemy. Along with fighting my inner demons and society’s conventions, I was faced with all this external garbage. I am a pretty flexible person. I have forgiven many things. To save friendships, I have all but forgotten painful memories. Even though it broke my heart, I tried to be understanding when people have said or done something cruel. I have still believed in people who have betrayed my trust. Above all I have wished for happiness for everyone in my life, even if it made me miserable. Despite the hurt and pain all of these things bring, I would gladly do them again. I love my friends and family too much to do anything else....

music for thought Current mood: cranky I should have gone out tonight. I should have gone to Lulu's. I should have spent time with my friends. Instead, I just couldn't get over this blah feeling. It isn't like I sat at home and cried on my couch all night...so not the case. I just had zero modivation to do ANYTHING. Maybe it was this crappy week paired with my sinus/allergy crap. Maybe it is my lack of sleep. I don't know what it is, but I want it to go away. Some of it is that I know there is something I have to do, but I am terrified of it, AND I have no idea of where to even start. I know it has to be done though, or else I am headed for a world of hurt. I'm not even certain I can do what I need to do at the moment. Once again my music reflects my mood. Here are my most highly played songs of the week. The intial plan was to only post the top 25...but we had a huge amount of ties... ..> Going under Evanescence Anywhere but home Alt.End The Cure Th...
I really must have kicked puppies in a former life Current mood: crazy Holy geez....this week might just push me to get over beveraged....seriously. There has been waaaaaaaaay too much drama headed my way, and most of it is not my own. Between all this CAAP test evilness (a standardized outcomes test required for all potential graduates), my boss not being around much (resulting in not having anyone of a classification with the authority to make certain decisions), the NACADA training (academic adivising training...not that I am paid to advise, but I do it anyway) irate student #1 who I had to call security on, irate student #2 that made my part time employee cry and then since my boss wasn't there I had to go to the Dean and deal with the issue, and other people in my life just being a little weird as of late (jeneral apology: if I pissed you off I'm sorry). When I'm trying to figure out ways to just be happy with being me (and not hating me as much instead of hating m...
Wednesday rant First: My Car Okay, Firestone has had my car since SUNDAY they just today told me that they can't get the part to fix my car so it has to go to the dealer....WTF why couldn't they tell me that before now? So now I am having it towed to the dealer...and I am waiting on them to tell me if they can fix it. The good news is after a Jennifer tell off session (just a word of warning...don't ever piss me off. My own father doesn't want to be in the same state with me when that happens. The good news is I am usually content just to be angry with me not other people) , Firestone is not charging me for anything. Now I just have to worry about the dealer. Since I have been stranded since Sunday, it has given me time to work on writing projects. Granted there was a lot of stuff I wanted to get done before Amy got here, but rethinking some of my current projects was agood thing. Also Associated Content has started paying us additional money for our page views,...
Random post time folks...yay! If I could be a TV character...I would want to be a combination of these guys: Abby--NCIS: She's the perfect blend of dark and happy. She has a great sense of humor and pretty much gets along with everyone. Occasionally she gets into a mood and can be a brat. She has her not so great moments, but she always recovers. I love the wardrobe most times. Now I just need the added height and to be a great deal smarter. Chloe-- 24: She isn't as happy as Abby. She doesn't dress nearly as cool. She doesn't always play well with others. However, if I need a computer expert to get me top secret information, buy me some time, or any of the other things she seems to be able to do...she's the one I'm calling. As I have said before I'm not sure how she stays alive...but I'm glad she does. Elliott-- SCRUBS: Yes she is naive and neurotic...not 2 things I really strive to be; however, but she looks for the good in people. She loves ...
