More Sprint Follies

My poor phone had one heck of a day today. I know it is just a phone…but now I am kind of starting to feel bad I will be putting it out to pasture tomorrow…or Wednesday if the office doesn't sign for it when UPS delivers. It isn't that my phone is old, bad, or unworthy. However, last week I made the commitment to make my writing my full time focus. Of course, I still have to keep my full time job for now. I'm lucky enough to have a decent job that usually doesn't suck, pays relatively well and has pretty good benefits. I will need that to keep the bills paid until I have enough work to make ends meet. Still, that also means I need a phone with more memory. I love my Blackberry Pearl, but memory is an issue. My Sprint contract was up in March, and after some stalking, Sprint backed down. Lyric Showdown #1 Either Way by Guster

The Lyrics: You were almost kind You were almost true Don't let me see That other side of you You have learned in time That you must be cruel I'll have to wait to get the best of you Poison in everything you say Don't you, don't you Wonder what difference does it make Either way... You were almost kind You were almost true Why give away that other side of you Happens every time So it must be true Step on a kid they'll grow up hating you Poison in everything you say Don't you, don't you Wonder what difference does it make Either way... Were you ever kind? Were you always cruel? Who's ever seen that other side of you? Happened every time So it must be true Where did you learn its either him or you? You were almost kind You were almost true Don't let me see that other side of you You have learned in time That you must be cruel I'll have to wait to get the best of you Poison in everything you say Don't you, don't you Wonder what difference

Either Way by Guster This isn't a big cry song, but I'm if I am in the right mood it can bring the tears. This is probably my favorite song of all time. It was that song that made me fall in love with the band. The lyrics are beautiful and haunting...I so love it. I guess they sort of remind me of me...especially the person I was at the time I heard the song and the person I have become in the past few years. Guster by So Long Again, this isn't a huge tear jerker, but the lyrics can get me if I am in a certain mindset. These lyrics remind me of the one relationship I honestly wish would have ended differently, but at the same time I have no regrets. The relationship was short, but it taught me what love really feels like. I can only hope to find that feelin
