Times they are a changing

First and foremost: I am no longer a blonde. I have taken the plunge and returned to a reddish brown and I love it. I went with the "color experte" dye where you do the base color and then the highlights. I also know since I dyed over light blonde hair it will probably fade fast. I will have to touch it up around Thanksgiving and then probably again before the cruise. It was time for a change. I hated it anyway...it just took me so long to get it the right color so I stuck wit it hoping it would grow on me.

Okay...I am so cringing as I hear yet another totally ignorant conversation happening in the common office area. I totally cannot wait for this election for be over. I have no qualms with people having differing opinions, but when they just believe everything the media...and worse satire media feeds them, it makes my blood boil. It makes no difference if you get all your "facts" from Fox News or from CNN...or the Daily Show...people need to get a clue and start being media literate. Here is my two cents. I am so over both sides just sounding stupid and uneducated. It doesn't matter who you are voting for, if you make ignorant statements you just make your stance look ignorant. Also...when you are so absorbed in your faulty rant you fail to do your job...there is a problem. Okay...now I am crawling off my soapbox.

I was hoping to have more on our first girls show at Bobby's on Redgage...hopefully it will get done tonight! Quinn and I put on a killer show! Yes it is just karaoke, but we all been to a bad show.

Best Laid Plans

I sat down and crafted a list of blog topics last night, and the plan was start working through that list tonight. It was going to be the start of a true reboot of this old thing. While I had planned on picking my stepdaughter up at the Boys and Girls Club after work I didn't plan on: 1) The amazon parrot needing me to make a food stop on the way home 2) My stepdaugher wanting me to watch her practice for color guard 3) That working on our budget would take nearly as long as it did. 4) Being this exhausted for no particular reason Now I sit here with a basset hound in my lap, and I am awkwardly trying to type on my laptop without disturbing him.
